Privacy
Data Privacy Agreements and COPPA: Instructure’s Data Privacy Officer and team have been involved in ensuring proper processes are in place to confirm data privacy and security. There is a signed DPA between the two parties. If an institution needs a separate agreement with Lucid, please email bdavis@lucid.co. For US-based K-12 institutions: All will need to complete the Lucid COPPA Acknowledgment form before the integration will work for them. See HERE for more details.
Accessibility
VPAT and Accessibility roadmap: Email support@lucid.co to request Lucid’s VPAT and Accessibility roadmap. Update: These documents are confidential. Lucid requests that each institution not share the documents outside their organization.

Lucid's COPPA acknowledgment process for K-12 schools and districts
Context:
Due to the Federal Trade Commission’s upcoming changes to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Lucid for Education must obtain a K-12 education institution's direct consent, on behalf of parents, to collect personal information from students under 13 in order to provide the Lucid Suite as an educational tool.
To provide that consent, please sign the Lucid-COPPA acknowledgment form.
To sign, please choose one of the following options:
- Download the Lucid-COPPA acknowledgment form, sign, and email the signed PDF to Coppa@lucidchart.com
- Email the name/email of your designated signatory to Coppa@lucidchart.com. (We will send the document out for signature through Docusign).
